Nick Young Points Out That the Lakers Have Gone 2-0 Since Kanye West Name-Dropped Him on “Facts”

Coincidence? Swaggy P doesn’t think so.

Kanye West very well may have created a monster when he name-dropped Nick Young on his latest song, “Facts.” Swaggy P’s teammate Julius Randle sent this out on Twitter just a few minutes after the anti-Nike anthem was released:

Nick Young credits Lakers going 2-0 partly to Kanye West shouting him out on "Facts." Young: "That's our anthem before the game."

But did Kanye also inadvertently help turn the Lakers’ season around?

Young himself seems to think so. Last night, the Lakers blew out the Suns at the Staples Center to earn their third consecutive victory. They also improved to 2-0 since Kanye dropped “Facts,” which is something Young pointed out after the game ended:

So is it just a coincidence that the Lakers are undefeated since Kanye shouted Swaggy out (for the record, they've played the 76ers and the Suns in their last two games)—or is there something more to it? One thing’s for sure: The Lakers host the Warriors tomorrow night, so we're going to find out the answer to that pretty quickly.
