The NBA announced the starting lineups for the 2016 All-Star game on Thursday, and even though he's the second-best player on a dominant Golden State Warriors team, Draymond Green wasn't deemed worthy of the honor by the fans who cast their votes.

This was a bit of a surprise, because Green had a slim lead over Kawhi Leonard of the Spurs when the previous round of returns was released. But Leonard is more than deserving; the shocker came when the Mavericks' Zaza Pachulia somehow finished ahead of Green by almost 42,000 votes.

Green's reaction on Twitter was only to point you to his mother's timeline, and with good reason.

Alright.... Let me go monitor @BabersGreen timeline 👀👀👀👀👀 lol

Mary Babers-Green has a history of going off and trashing people who don't give her son the credit he deserves, so this was potentially a moment to grab some popcorn and watch the fireworks unfold. But her response was relatively tame, and she let most of her opinions be known by simply retweeting others.

The reason for the lack of a true attack was likely due to the fact that Green is essentially a lock to make the All-Star team as a reserve. Those spots are voted on by the coaches, and they appreciate all that Green does for the league-leading Warriors.
