David Haye's eagerly anticipated comeback fight has landed an unexpected broadcast partner, Dave.

The free-to-air entertainment channel has landed the rights to screen Haye's fight with Australian contender Mark De Mori on January 16th. The fight will mark the first time Dave – famed for Top Gear repeats – has hosted a boxing bout.

Boxing fans aren't sure how seriously to take Haye's comeback.

The fight will be Haye's first since he clashed with Dereck Chisora at Upton Park in 2012 and if successful, the ex-world heavyweight king will be hopeful of domestic dust-ups against the likes of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Don't place bets on those fights being on Dave, though.
