You gotta put LeBron James on this list. Heavy lies the crown for King James, but he’s not pressed to keep the workout regime that keeps him on top a secret. The hard part is not cutting corners.
James acknowledges that the offseason is “the real season.” In this workout video, trainer Mike Mancias sees the court like a grid, and has James hit a certain number of jump shots per spot. Later in the season data collected during these sessions will end up on his shot chart. Basically, James focuses solely on shooting, dribble-drive moves from the top of the key, and shredding his muscles with elastic band stretches and rapid fire jump rope.
