Peyton Manning vehemently denied allegations he ever used performance enhancing drugs Sunday and one of his greatest rivals voiced his support for the future Hall of Famer amid the controversy Monday.

Tom Brady expressed admiration for his friend as the fallout continues from the Al Jazeera documentary that alleges Manning used performance enhancing drugs—like HGH—during his days with the Colts.

Appearing on WEEI radio in Boston, Brady admitted "I don't know the details of anything" but vouched for Manning's upstanding character and predicted he would weather the media storm, adding "He knows how to handle these things."

"I fully support Peyton and my friendship with him over the years. He’s a guy that I can always count on and he’s been someone who has always been so supportive of me. We’ll have lifelong friendships. Truthfully, I don’t put much into anything. I have a lot of friends, I have a lot of support, and he has the same. I’m a big fan and supporter of his, so that’s how I really feel about everything."

Manning is so livid over the documentary that reports he was administered HGH while recovering from neck surgery in 2011 that he told MMQB's Peter King that he will probably sue Al Jazeera. "I'm that angry," Manning told King
