We are now less than one week away from Christmas, so 'tis the season to be jolly, and all that good stuff. And this pic of Arizona Cardinals Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson dressed as an elf fits right in.

The NFL's highest paid cornerback lost in his team's "Quarterback Bucket Challenge," an accuracy competition that they hold every Friday. The rules are simply just throwing footballs at a trash can 15 yards away. The loser is required to wear something ridiculous for pregame warmups, regardless if they are for home games or on the team plane en route to away games.

So by keeping up to the team's standards, and Yuletide cheer, he dressed up as one of Santa's helpers on their way to Philly for their game against the Eagles this Sunday.

It's Santa's favorite helper, @RealPeterson21! (He lost the weekly QB bet) pic.twitter.com/xM2OwKuj67
