John Stockton played 19 NBA seasons, and is the league's all-time leader in assists. His son David is currently trying to make a name for himself in the D-League, and he did exactly that on Tuesday night, but perhaps for the wrong reasons.

Stockton attempted to slide in and take a charge on a dunk attempt from Orlando Johnson of the Austin Spurs, and Johnson absolutely crushed him.

The knee in the chest (which also appeared to catch Stockton in the chin) was just devastating, and since trying to take a charge in this way is the lowest form of defense imaginable, we can't say we're sorry to see how this one turned out.
