He didn’t even have time to finish answering questions.

It’s going to be tough for any NBA player to top the now-infamous post-game interview that James Harden did earlier this season, which featured him side-eyeing a sideline reporter who asked him a silly question. But J.J. Redick gave it a shot last night following the Clippers’ win over the Pistons.

Redick scored 24 points during the game and hit a big three at the end of regulation to send it to overtime. So after the game was finished, he was asked to do a quick post-game interview with Fox Sports. He agreed to do it and answered—or at least, started to answer—one question, while he looked around for something or someone. And then, seemingly out of nowhere, he broke out into a full sprint and ran away from the reporter who was conducting the interview without finishing.

It was a bizarre scenario, especially when you consider that the question the reporter asked was pretty straightforward. But it sounds like Redick may have been trying to avoid having to dance in the Clips’ locker room after the game:

According to @Matt_Winer, JJ was in a hurry because the last Clipper player into the locker room has to dance. JJ wasn't having any of that.

Whatever the case, it made for a memorable moment and almost dethroned Harden’s post-game interview. But sorry, guys, it’s going to be damn-near impossible to outdo this:
