Maybe Jeff Adrien's favorite movie is Ferris Bueller's Day Off

According to TMZ, the former NBA forward (most recently with the Pelicans) and UConn product allegedly stole a Mercedes-Benz from a Los Angeles hotel valet and pulled a stunt straight out of the iconic 80's movie when he "went on a 6 hour joyride before returning it back at the hotel."

Someone figured out what happened and informed the owner -- and Adrien was later arrested by LAPD for grand theft auto and taken to jail!  He was later released on $25k bail.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Adrien, 29, was waiting outside a West Hollywood hotel when he saw the Mercedes pull up to the valet before allegedly getting his hands on the keys and taking off.
