We told you the Rockets were going to trade Dwight Howard this season!

Er, OK, so maybe the Rockets won’t do any of the deals that we proposed earlier today in our list of 13 ESPN Trade Machine-approved deals the NBA needs right now (we had three involving Howard on there). Some of our deals are admittedly a little out there. But according to a report released by Sheridan Hoops a short time ago, Howard is “extremely unhappy” about “playing second fiddle” to James Harden in Houston right now. And while it doesn’t sound like he has demanded a trade or anything like that, Sheridan Hoops founder Chris Sheridan made a pretty compelling case for why the Rockets should trade Howard to the Heat in exchange for Hassan Whiteside at some point this season.

Stay tuned to see what Howard has to say about all of this. ESPN reporter Calvin Watkins has already spoken with one source within the Rockets organization who told him that everyone, Howard included, is unhappy:

A source on Dwight Howard being unhappy: "Everybody is unhappy."

Sounds like fun.
