Remember when Eagles cornerback Byron Maxwellguaranteed that his team would make it to the Super Bowl this season? HAHAHA. How’s that prediction working out for him? (although, maybe we shouldn't laugh too hard, since the Eagles do play in the NFC East...)
That was obviously not a smart thing for Maxwell to say. But believe it or not, he may have actually said something even dumber today when he was asked about Tom Brady, the quarterback he will face this Sunday. Brady is, if you haven’t noticed, a pretty good quarterback. But according to Maxwell, he won’t be the best QB on the field on Sunday:
Um, what?
Is this guy trying to get Eagles fans to hate him even more than they already do or…?
