Brett Brown is tasked with overseeing a bunch of young guns, the Sixers, as they tank their way through another season. When your season's lone highlight is managing to just tie worst regular season start in NBA history instead beating it, you're not having a great year.

However, that one win the Sixers have definitely didn't hurt Brown's job security. The beleaguered head coach earned a two-year contract extension from Philadelphia, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Brown's contract was originally though 2016-17.

Philadelphia coach Brett Brown has agreed to a two-year contract extension, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

The move comes a day after the franchise brought in Jerry Colangelo as the new chairman of basketball operations. Thus, "the process" continues.
