However, that one win the Sixers have definitely didn't hurt Brown's job security. The beleaguered head coach earned a two-year contract extension from Philadelphia, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Brown's contract was originally though 2016-17.

The move comes a day after the franchise brought in Jerry Colangelo as the new chairman of basketball operations. Thus, "the process" continues.
