Josh Brown's field goal miss in overtime stung Giants fans harder because that was his first miss of the season. It was supposed to be a sure thing. But somehow Brandon Marshall knew that miss was going to happen.

Before the kick, Marshall, in all his Pro Bowl-level talent and clairvoyance, told Ryan Fitzpatrick that the Giants were going to miss it because the football deities owed them a break.

Brandon Marshall told Ryan Fitzpatrick "they're gonna miss it" because the "football gods" owed the two veterans a break.

Marshall certainly worked for that break. The 31-year-old finished with 131 receiving yards and scored the fourth quarter touchdown that kicked off the Jets' comeback. His performance puts him at over 1,000 receiving yards for the year, making him the first player in NFL history to do so for four different teams.
