Towson University diving coach Maureen Mead has been brought up on felony charges after a smartphone was found secretly filming athletes in the women’s locker room.

The New York Posthas the details:

Maureen Mead, 43, whose husband, Pat, was the university’s head swim coach, was hit with peeping tom, altering evidence and interception of a communication charges, according to the Baltimore Sun.

The school released the following statement on Monday:

"The investigation continues regarding other members of the coaching staff, and we will provide more information when it becomes available. The well-being of our student-athletes remains and will continue to be our top priority."

Invasion of privacy stories are creepy for sure, but considering the head coach and the diving coach are husband and wife, that just adds an even more disturbing fact to the equation.
