Lamar Odom is still hospitalized and recovering after slipping into a coma last month following a reported drug overdose. His health has improved and he is "off of all machines" according to his wife Khloe Kardashian, but he is reportedly having trouble recognizing friends and family and may have suffered brain damage as a result of what happened. And that’s not the only problem he’s currently facing.

According to reports out of Nye County in Nevada, Odom may face a felony drug charge in light of what took place. Nye County District Attorney Angela Bella told the Associated Press that the sheriff’s office in the county submitted a potential charge to her office last week. It would either be an unlawful use of cocaine charge or a being under the influence of a controlled substance charge and would be considered serious. This is despite the fact that reports indicate Nye County has never charged the victim of an overdose with a crime in the past.

It’s unclear how likely it is that the potential charge will stick, but stay tuned for updates on the case.
