At the moment, we’re guessing that Justin Bieber is the last thing on Ronda Rousey’s mind. She is dealing with much bigger issues right now as a result of her knockout loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193. But during an interview with Entertainment Tonight that is scheduled to air later today, Bieber addressed some recent comments that Rousey made about him.
Early last month, Rousey talked about how Biebs was “really rude” to her little sister at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014. According to her, she asked him to take a photo with her sister, and he replied by turning down her request and saying, “I’ve already taken a billion pictures today, OK?” While speaking with ET, Bieber said he doesn’t remember that happening, but just in case it did, he apologized for it.
“I guess, supposedly, she asked for a picture with her sister or something, and I guess I said no?” he told ET. “But I don’t remember this happening, so, Ronda, I’m sorry. Don’t kick my ass!”
But then, for whatever reason, Bieber switched up his tone a few moments later and decided to take a shot at Rousey. After he was asked what he would like to improve at outside of music, he responded “boxing” before speaking about Rousey’s fight with Holm.
“Did you see Ronda Rousey?” he said. “She got knocked out cold! Oh my God, she got knocked out so bad. Yeah, no, she got pummeled.”
Hmmm…Regardless of what happened on Saturday night, talking trash about Rousey does not seem like it would be in Bieber’s best interest. But as we mentioned, she’s got other things on her mind right now, so fortunately, Biebs and the other celebrities who have taken shots at her won’t have to deal with the consequences of their comments anytime soon, if at all.
