The Seattle Seahawks got a huge win over the Pittsburgh Steelers today to get back into the NFC playoff hunt, but it was not without a price.
Jimmy Graham: right knee injury. My guess is patellar dislocation here pic.twitter.com/ghUg0uMqNQ
Attempting to catch a ball in the end zone early in the fourth quarter of the Seahawks 39-30 win, tight end Jimmy Graham tore the patellar tendon in his right knee when he came down awkwardly in the corner of the end zone. Graham will need surgery, and will miss the remainder of the 2015 season.
Though Graham had struggled early on to establish himself in Seahawks run-heavy offense, he was slowly becoming a bigger part of the offense, as evidenced by his four catches for 75 yards statline he posted before leaving the game today. It's a big loss for a team that is already without starting running back Marshawn Lynch for a few more weeks.
