Who's going to save the Lakers? Kobe Bryant's not the answer. His tragic jump shot continued to be tragic against the Nets. Bryant had a 5-for-16 night from the field at Brooklyn.
Yes, yes. It's very unfortunate, but the Lakers do have help. D'Angelo Russell comes with talent, hope, and youth. He also had a wicked crossover for Jarrett Jack.
Got him doing pregame stretches during the game.
Russell was pretty good against the Nets, scoring 16 while going 6-for-9 from the field (Bryant led with 18 points). The Lakers won 104-98 for their first victory of the season. That doesn't inspire too much confidence, though; the Nets are 0-6 and muy basura.
