New York Mets fans can exhale because it looks like Yoenis Cespedes is going to be alright. During Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies, Cespedes was hit on his left hand by Justin De Fratus with an 89 MPH fastball.
Following the incident, Mets fans were already hitting the panic button.
However, X-rays came back negative, revealing a contusion on his middle and ring fingers and nothing more.
The Mets dodged a major bullet.
