Charles Barkley may be a former NBA player who is in the Hall of Fame, but that doesn't mean that his observations about the game today are always correct.

In fact, Barkley spends most of his time as an analyst on TNT's Inside the NBA spewing all kinds of nonsense, which Kenny Smith usually does his best to shoot down as much as possible.

One of the more ridiculous things Barkley had been saying for much of last season was how jump-shooting teams don't win championships, because, you know, in the playoffs, things slow down, defenses get tighter, and you need to find a way to get easier looks closer to the basket.

Well, the Warriors won a title last season with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson hitting plenty of long-range shots, and on opening night as they saw their banner unveiled in the rafters, the team trolled Barkley by repeatedly displaying a t-shirt on the Jumbotron that reminded him of just how wrong he was.

Barkley, of course, never won a championship in his NBA career, so the punch was straight to the gut. He was a good sport about it, however, and wore the shirt as his way of apologizing.
