Comedian Daniel Tosh is a huge Miami Dolphins fan, and he absolutely hates the New England Patriots. But he isn't stupid.

In an attempt to raise money for fellow comedian Andy Ritchie who is being treated for a brain tumor, Tosh auctioned off items from his 'Tosh.0' television show and raised $25,000. He then took that money and wagered it on the Patriots to lead the Dolphins by more than 3.5 points at halftime of the teams' Thursday night matchup.

New England was up 19-0 after the first two quarters, so Tosh will collect $20,833.35 in winnings for his successful wager. As for how the money will be spent, well, Tosh says that's completely up to Ritchie.

"Once I double it, [Ritchie] can do whatever he wants with it; go on a lion-hunting safari or get treatment," he said, via The Hollywood Reporter.

Ritchie's friends have a GoFundMe page set up to attempt to continue to raise money to cover his expenses. The latest update seems to indicate that despite Tosh's recent donation, he could still use some additional assistance.

Hey everyone, I wish I had better news about Andy right now. Unfortunately Andy suffered a stroke after his last operation and the rehabilitation and care that he needs is extensive.

Our friend and fellow comedian, Daniel Tosh did a great piece on Andy and his predicament on Tosh.0 this week which you can see here:http://tosh.cc.com/video-clips/y13rn6/tosh-0-memorabilia-auction--2

This is a real crummy situation our friend Andy and his fiancee Ruby are facing, so please help out however you can. We need to get Andy into a great facility than can provide the intense care he needs.
