Cam Newton is in a good mood and rightfully so. Newton's name has been brought up in MVP discussions. The Carolina Panthers are one of the five remaining undefeated teams in the NFL, at 5-0. He's also probably still riding high off a road win over the Seahawks in Seattle.

And speaking of that last point, Cam took a small portion of his weekly press conference to go after the members of the media who thought the Panthers would lose to the 'Hawks this past Sunday.

It started with the "I'm about to give these people a fire hot take" look.

Then, he delivered the heat. "No offense, but I find all media comical at times,” Newton said. “I think you guys can easily take back what you say. There’s no danger when somebody says it. If there was a pay cut or an incentive picking teams each and every week, I guarantee people would watch what they say."

*Flex bomb* Wow. *Flex bomb* Wooooooooow! *Flex bomb*

“If you make a bold statement and you’re correct, you should get an X amount increase," Newton added. "But if you make a bold statement and it goes the other way, you get a deduction. And it goes straight to the Cam Newton Foundation.”

What do you say, beat writers? If you're right, your pockets get fatter. If you gotta pay up, it's going towards a good cause. It's a win-win all around.

So, are you up for Cam challenge? *Looks directly at Skip Bayless
