Watch Harrison Barnes Almost Drop the Golden State Warriors 2015 Championship Trophy

Harrison Barnes loses grip and quickly catches the Warriors 2015 NBA championship trophy

What a dream come—and avoided nightmare— for Golden State Warriors small forward Harrison Barnes. The former University of North Carolina All-American returned to his college's home field for the Delaware-UNC football game this Saturday to hoist the coveted Larry O'Brien trophy with his friend UNC basketball forward James Michael McAdoo to the students and fellow alumni in attendance.

But what looked like a triumphant moment seemed to be almost disastrous as he slightly lost the grip while raising the Warriors first championship trophy in 40 years. Even the Warriors had to let him know about needing to watch his butter-fingers:

... and he acknowledged his slip on the grip to his employer:

My bad, Larry. That was close. http://t.co/wTA6g6AGyq

Now that's more like it.
