Commissioner Roger Goodell looks even more incompetent after losing to Tom Brady in the Deflategate case. Brady doesn't owe Goodell an apology, but he's a professional, so he does at least owe a public statement. Of course, he decides to drop a statement when everybody is getting ready for Labor Day weekend.
Is this going to get Goodell to stop being petty and attend the Patriots season opener? No. Is this going to get people to stop hating Brady? Also, no. But at least he's excited for that season opener, right?
