Ronda Rousey is now making headlines even when she doesn't mean to do it.
Over the last few months, she has landed in the news by doing everything from taking shots at Floyd Mayweather to providing her thoughts about weed. But today, she's back in the news because she accidentally made an awkward sexual reference right in the middle of a press conference for UFC 193 on Wednesday.
While answering a question about how she plans on attacking Holly Holm during their upcoming fight, Rousey said that she's not going to go on the offensive right away. But her choice of words was, well, a little strange.
"Holly's not really the kind of person I can come at right away," she said. "The other girls that I've fought before do not have the kind of footwork and movement that Holly has. They weren't counter punchers, so I knew that if I came right in their face right away…"
Rousey started laughing at that point and tried to hide her embarrassment by clarifying herself.
"Oh my God!" she said. "Not right away. I take my time, OK? You know what I mean, if I came…how do I say this right now?"
