You know who DOESN'T need lifting advice? The guy in the photo above. He is, of course, Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson, and he looks like he spends all day at the gym. So trust, he doesn't need your help with his technique.

A Reddit user named lollerchopter claims that he once witnessed a kid trying to give advice to The Rock at the gym, though, and according to him, it didn't end well. The Rock didn't actually say anything to the kid. But in a Reddit thread called "What is the funniest thing that you have seen/heard at the gym?" lollerchopter revealed what happened that day at a Gold's Gym in Thousand Oaks, Calif.:

I used to go to the same gym as The Rock, and he's notorious for doing extremely slow bicep curls with perfect form and max weight, and some kid next to him thought he was struggling so he made a comment about "maybe it's too heavy" The Rock looked up from his intense concentrated gaze, the kid realized who he was talking to and just about shit himself.

We're slightly skeptical about this story, simply because lollerchopter makes it seem as though the kid didn't know who The Rock was until he looked at him. Maybe we're underestimating California gyms, but are really that many dudes who look like The Rock walking around to the point that the kid wouldn't know who he was? Plus, it seems crazy to think that someone would walk up to someone who looks like The Rock and give him advice. But we'd love to believe that this is true, and hopefully someone will ask The Rock about it soon.
