With their Hall of Fame quarterback beating the rap, and their Super Bowl champion team leading the NFL opener 28-14 in the fourth quarter, New England Patriots fans were feeling good/confident/drunk, and they showed it to a national audience by taunting commissioner Roger Goodell with a "Where is Roger?" chant.

Goodell's plans to skip tonight's opener were made known last week through a league spokesman, who said the commish wouldn't show because "the focus should be on the game on the field and the festivities celebrating the Patriots' Super Bowl championship."

And to answer the fans' question: Probably sipping Dom Perignon in his home theater at his sprawling estate.
