Have you had your fantasy football draft yet? If not, let this next story be a reminder of why you need to do at least a little bit of preparation for it.
Recently, a 24-year-old man from Minneapolis, Minn. named Steve (he declined to give his last name during an interview with the New York Daily News) was forced to walk around the city naked as a punishment for coming in last in his fantasy football league last season. Technically, he did wear a cardboard box around his waist that said, "FANTASY FOOTBALL LOSER," on it, but that was it. And of course, the rest of the players in his league snapped photo of him and posted them online, just to rub in the fact that he was the league's biggest loser.
Fortunately, he took it all in stride and, truth be told, the whole "get naked and walk around the city" thing was his idea. The original punishment for finishing in last was simply to hold a sign on a street corner as an act of public shaming. But if this doesn't stop you from drafting Tim Tebow this season simply to come up with some stupid name for your team, nothing will. Don't be like this guy. Please.
