The 2015-16 NFL season hasn't kicked off yet, so every single NFL fan base out there is still hopeful that this could be their favorite team's year. Even fans of the Browns, Titans, and Buccaneers are like, "Hey, it could happen for us!"

Redskins fans probably shouldn't be too hopeful, though, for two reasons: One, their quarterback situation is still a mess. And two, DeSean Jackson did an interview with GQ recently, and even he couldn't muster up the strength to sell the reporter who was interviewing him on the idea of Washington making the NFL Playoffs this season. Here's how their interaction went:

GQ: Do you feel like you guys will contend this year?

Such confidence!

We don't really blame Jackson for being gun-shy about making a bold prediction for the Redskins this season. But couldn't he at least pretend that he thinks the team is going to be half decent? Guess not.
