Back in late August, a woman filed a lawsuit against Derrick Rose, claiming that he and two of his friends drugged and gang raped her in Beverly Hills, Calif. in August 2013. Rose denied the accusations soon after and, as recently as yesterday, he said that he is “very confident” that he will be found innocent of any wrongdoing. According to TMZ Sports, Rose also just filed court documents providing his side of the story.

TMZ Sports is reporting that, in the documents, Rose claims the accuser in the case “consented to sexual interaction with more than one co-defendant on more than one occasion, consented to sexual interactions on the day in question, and invited the defendants to her apartment and buzzed them in.” Rose also claims that the accuser became upset with him and his friends after he refused to reimburse her for a sex toy that was used on the night in question. And he claims that the accuser became even angrier at him after he stopped responding to text messages from her a short time later.

It’s unclear when this case will go to court, but we will be sure to provide you with additional details as they become available.
