Liverpool fans didn't need to see this after the week they're having.
The club's fans don't need much of an excuse to fire shots at Brendan Rodgers after Liverpool's lackluster start to the Premier League season and now a ghost of Rodgers' past continues to haunt him.
Mario Balotelli, who caught so much flak from Rodgers last year following a season of uninspiring performances, joined AC Milan on loan during the final days of the summer transfer window. He's already off the mark for his new club.
After scoring just one league goal in 16 games last season, Balotelli has already matched that total in 2015/16. Better yet, he did it with a pinpoint free-kick from 25 yards.
No one is ready to question whether Rodgers is to blame for Balotelli's disappointing Anfield tenure just yet...but a few more performances like this would bring that debate closer and closer.
