There were plenty of viral NFL fan fights last season and the scuffles continued this week. After the Monday Night Football match, multiple 49ers fans beat down a 35-year-old Vikings fan and an 18-year-old security officer who tried to help. The victim was talking trash according to one account, but he got more than a reasonable comeuppance in that viral video.
Four fans who were involved got arrested on Friday, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The suspects include three California natives and a 17-year-old girl. In the wake of the incident, 49ers spokesman Bob Lange said in a statement that, “unacceptable behavior such as this will not be tolerated.”
