Those not yet hyped on surfer Sage Erickson, prepare to have your perspective adjusted. Since qualifying for the World Surf League tour, which pits her against the best female surfers on the planet, Sage has been turning heads with her ability to navigate savage breaks with style. She cut her teeth as a surfer on Oahu’s North Shore, and now gets her daily reps in on the Ventura County coast in Southern California. There is more to Sage than just surfing, however, just like there is more to Ventura than the waves on C Street Beach. Sage’s adopted home has another side to it, as does Sage, whose personal passions range from the outdoors to graphic design (she is known for hand-painting original designs on her surfboards).
