Late last month, Hawks forward Mike Scott was arrested in Homer, Ga. and charged with felony drug possession after police found more than an ounce of marijuana and approximately 11 grams of Molly inside of a car that he was driving in. Now, it sounds like Scott could be in big trouble if he is found guilty once his case goes to court.
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Scott could face up to 25 years in prison for felony drug possession. The Molly charge carries a maximum of 15 years in prison, while the marijuana charges carries a maximum of 10 years behind bars. Smith will need to wait for tests on the drugs to come back before he finds out when he will go to court, and that could take at least a few more months. Stay tuned for further details.
