Atlanta news station 11Alive News accidentally tweeted out an old Josh Gordon news story from 2014 today. They blamed it on site maintenance. But because the date on the story was initially listed as August 10, 2015, it caused a lot of confusion. As of right now, the 11Alive News has updated the post with a pre-hed and an update clarifying that it is indeed from 2014.

Gordon himself has even responded to the story:

Given the troubled Browns wide receiver's history, though, everybody believed the story, including Browns beat reporter Tony Grossi who quoted a statement from Browns GM Ray Farmer that was in the post.

Gordon was suspended for the first two games of the NFL season in 2013 for violating the league's substance abuse policy, sat out for 10 games in 2014, and has to sit out for the entire 2015 season due to his DWI from 2014 that was being passed off as something that just happened. Check out some of the best tweets we came across regarding this bizarre situation.
