Early Sunday morning, at 3:36 a.m., UCLA defensive back Ishmael Adams was arrested on suspicion of robbery. According to the Daily Bruin, the 21-year-old was taken into custody by UCLA police after allegedly using force to steal the cell phone of an Uber driver, causing "apparent minor injuries."
Adams is being held on $100,000 bail and will be in court on Tuesday afternoon.
UCLA spokesman released the following statement: “We are aware of the situation and continue to gather information. As this is a pending legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time."
