Yesterday must have been excruciating for Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. When he woke up, it seemed like his team was in prime position to sign DeAndre Jordan to a free agent deal. DJ had, of course, already agreed to the deal last week. But that changed over the course of the day and, by last night, Cuban was reportedly driving around downtown Houston trying to find DJ's house so that he could attempt to convince him not to sign with the Clippers:

Or was he? After ESPN reporter Chris Broussard sent out that tweet last night, Cuban's brother Brian Cuban saw it and responded almost immediately. He didn't appreciate the desperate tone of the tweet and told Broussard to "STFU":

Cuban brother's also said he didn't feel bad about telling Broussard to quiet down:

.@Chris_Broussard that's is the dumbest shit Ive ever heard. If you had any ethics u would msg me and I will give u his address

— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) July 9, 2015

He then responded to the trolls who started gathering in his mentions:

And after awhile, he refused to apologize for going at Broussard's neck:

And when he woke up this morning, he was also quick to remind everyone that, despite Jordan's decision, Mark Cuban is still an NBA champion:

Still no word from Mark Cuban himself. But something tells us we should hear something from him sooner rather than later.

UPDATE:

Cuban just fired back at Broussard, too! He sent this tweet to him this morning:

UPDATE 2:

Broussard responded to Mark Cuban.
