UPDATE: Heather Dietrick, President & General Counsel of Gawker Media, has responded to TMZ Sports' original report with this: "Hulk Hogan has only one person to blame for what he said and no one from Gawker had any role in leaking that information."

Hulk Hogan has been under heavy scrutiny lately over racist and homophobic remarks he made during a sex tape some years ago.

As new transcripts continue to be released that make him look worse and worse, Hogan now believes he knows who's behind it all, and wants a judge to jail the responsible parties if in fact it turns out he's right.

According to TMZ, Hogan filed new court documents as part of his pending $100 million lawsuit against Gawker for publishing the sex tape initially. He's asking the judge to launch an investigation into Gawker founder Nick Denton and former Gawker executive A.J. Daulerio to prove they leaked details from the video (i.e., transcripts of the ruinous remarks) that a judge had previously ruled to be confidential.

The alleged reason that Gawker would leak these transcripts to another media outlet would be to keep some distance from the controversy, while further damaging Hogan's reputation in advance of the trial that's approaching.

There's a lot going on here, and it seems as though the story is updating on a daily basis. The accused parties will almost certainly respond and refute Hogan's latest assertion, but if it does turn out to be proven correct, Hogan may be in line for damages well in excess of the $100 million he's currently seeking.
