Yesterday, a video of Florida State quarterback De'Andre Johnsonpunching a woman in the face at a Tallahassee, Fla. bar emerged, less than a month after the woman accused Johnson of hitting her. And while nothing would excuse what Johnson did, he is now reportedly claiming that the woman yelled a racial slur at him just prior to the punch.
According to TMZ Sports, who spoke with a representative for Johnson, he claims the woman said, "Get off me, you fucking n*****," at the bar that night. He also reportedly says he's "extremely embarrassed" about the incident but maintains that the woman was the aggressor in the situation.
