Earlier today, the pursuit of DeAndre Jordan was so adorable with Los Angeles Clippers players, like Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, tweeting out cute little emojis. But, with the midnight hour where NBA free agents can officially sign on the dotted line for a team drawing near, things have gotten Lifetime made for TV movie scary. ESPN's Ramona Shelburne is reporting that the Clippers contingent which went to meet Jordan is pretty much, well...holding him hostage, preventing him from getting into contact with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban or their players.

As you would expect, this, um, "predicament" doesn't bode well for the Mavs.

However, it is believed that this situation isn't something DeAndre is opposed to.

But we've heard something along those same lines in like ten Lifetime movies, so we don't know what to believe. Either way, Cuban has to find a way to get into that damn house!

This is going to make for one hell of a 30 for 30 one day.

Update: Blake is poking some fun at the reports...but isn't denying it!
