Anyway, following a recent bout where he lost in the semifinals of the Pan Am Games to Cuba’s Lenier Pero, Cam gave one of the most entertaining post-fight interviews we have seen in quite some time.
Here are some things to keep an ear out for:
- Some people have told him that he's the "Taylor Swift of boxing," according to Cam...of course. His response to that claim? "I'm not saying I'm the Taylor Swift of boxing, but I'm not, not saying I'm the Taylor Swift of boxing." Got all that?
- When analyzing how the fight would turn out, Cam remembered that freedom beat communism, meaning he would beat his Cuban opponent.
- He gives a brief Spanish lesson, even though as Cam points out, this "is not ESPN Deportes, but for the bilingual viewers, I feel like they can appreciate that."
