Earlier today, the Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriages are officially legal in all 50 states. As a result, there have been a ton of reactions to the news—both positive and negative—on Twitter. This included some tweets from Vikings cornerback Josh Robinson, who provided one of the more uncomfortable reactions to the Supreme Court ruling.
Robinson seems to be a very religious man, as evidenced by the Bible verse in his Twitter bio. So it wasn't exactly a surprise to see that he's not all for gay marriages. But for whatever reason, Robinson chose to express his opinion by comparing two people of the same sex falling in love to a 30-year-old falling in love with a 10-year-old. It was…weird, to say the least:
He then continued with a series of tweets defending his position:
And while we're all for Robinson having the right to express whatever opinion he wants, it doesn't feel like he went about expressing it in the right way. At all. It's unclear if he's going to delete his tweets, but he has made his Twitter profile private.
