Where is Bill Simmons going to land when his current contract with ESPN is up? Last we heard, he was reportedly thinking about doing something with Jon Stewart. And while it's still unclear whether or not that's actually true, the latest rumor has Simmons heading to HBO.
According to a source who spoke with Hollywood Reporter, HBO executives have been trying to convince Simmons to sign with them. They have reportedly offered him a TV show as well as some kind of online site for his columns and other content that he produces. HBO refused to comment on the speculation, but it's probably safe to say that there is at least some interest from them.
Stay tuned to see where Simmons ultimately ends up. It'll probably still be awhile before we get any kind of official confirmation.
