Arturo Vidal has promised to give everything he earns during this year's Copa America to charity.

It's safe to say that Vidal's three goals and Chile's easy passage to the tournament's knock out stage has been overshadowed by the incidents of last week. His car crash, when he wrote off his £230,000 Ferrari and was charged with drink driving, has been one of the biggest stories of the Copa America.

It seems like Vidal has been forgiven by Chile's fans, and they've been seen in masks of his face at the country's matches, but Vidal is keen to move on from what happened, and is hoping that his donation to charity will help that happen.

Alexis Sanchez and other Chile players are choosing the charity to get the money.

The charity that receives the donation is yet to be decided, and it won't be Vidal who chooses it. Instead, the decision is being made by his agent and eight other Chile players, including Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez.
