That equals out to over 4,000 hot dogs, 2,500 personal pizzas, and tons of beer and soda.

Chris Christie has been a regular spender at New Jersey's NFL games since assuming the office of the Governor in 2010. He's a Cowboys fan, and has been spotted cozying up to Jerry Jones and Roger Goodell from time to time. Through his five years in office, while keeping an annual salary of $175,000, he has also been given a state expense account for $95,000 per year. The state budget pretty much gives Christie free reign to spend the money as he pleases—the state budget says the money is to be "used for official receptions on behalf of the state, the operation of an official residence"—and since New Jersey owns MetLife Stadium, home of the Giants and Jets, he can get away with spending a total of $82,594 on concessions while enjoying free use of the stadium's luxury boxes.

In total, Christie has spent $300,000 of state taxpayer money on food, drink, and desserts, but Watchdog.org just highlighted his use of official funds within MetLife Stadium.

On 58 occasions, Christie used a debit card to pay a total of $82,594 to Delaware North Sportservice, which operates the concessions at MetLife. The governor’s office did not provide any receipts, business reasons or names of individuals entertained, but defended the expense.

My goodness. Scroll down to see how many hot dogs, personal pizzas, and beers Christie could've bought with that $82,594. All concession prices via Stadium Journey
