If you fell asleep during the third quarter of the Clippers/Rockets playoff game last night—or worse, if you voluntarily shut off the game because you assumed it was over—then you probably couldn't believe your eyes when you woke up this morning and checked the final score. With a little more than a minute remaining in the third quarter, Rockets star James Harden went to the bench with his team trailing by 17 points, and it looked like the Clippers were going to coast to the Western Conference Finals. But with Harden on the bench for all but 10 seconds during the game's final frame, Josh Smith and Corey Brewer combined to score 29 points to help Houston earn a well-deserved 119-107 road win in front of a stunned Staples Center crowd.

It was both an incredible comeback on the part of the Rockets and an epic collapse on the part of the Clippers. And in the immediate aftermath of the game, it made a lot of Lakers fans out there very happy. Because while the Lakers haven't played a game in almost a month now, Lakers Nation really enjoyed seeing the Clippers fall apart in the final 12 minutes of last night's contest. It proved that, for now, Los Angeles is still a Lakers town, even though the Lakers suck at the moment.

Scroll down to see some of the reactions that Lakers fans had to watching the Clippers' crushing loss to the Rockets. Who knew Lakers fans could be so petty?
