Was UFC fighter Jon Jones involved in a hit-and-run accident with a pregnant woman in New Mexico over the weekend? That's what police in Albuquerque are trying to figure out right now. They're attempting to track Jones down so that they can ask him about his alleged involvement in the accident, which took place when a car that was reportedly rented by Jones slammed into a car that was carrying the pregnant woman.
One thing police do know, though, is that they found drugs inside of the car that Jones was allegedly in. According to TMZ Sports, which obtained a copy of a police report, marijuana and a marijuana pipe were discovered inside of the car a short time after the accident. The report also reveals that witnesses told police that Jones ran away from the scene of the crash, returned to grab "a large handful of cash," and then ran away again.
It may be awhile before police are able to sort out exactly what happened. We'll be sure to keep you updated on the situation.
