The Lakers may very well find out the future of their entire franchise on May 19 during the NBA Draft Lottery. If they get the first or second pick in the draft, they'll likely be able to land a player who can help turn their team around quickly. But if they don't? Well, it might be another looooooong year in Los Angeles next season.
Longtime Lakers fan Flea knows this. So earlier this week, he took to Twitter and offered to represent the team at the lottery, if they want him to do it. He also promised to bring home either a No. 1 or No. 2 pick:
At this point, what do you have to lose if you're the Lakers? Bringing Flea to the lottery definitely couldn't hurt. So why not?
