Last summer, boxer Shannon Briggs went above and beyond to try and get Wladimir Klitschko to fight him. He showed up at his gym and harassed him. He showed up at a restaurant and harassed him. Hell, this dude even showed up at the beach and harassed him!
So it should come as no surprise to hear that Briggs showed up at Madison Square Garden today for Klitschko's weigh-in for his fight against Bryant Jennings. But what was surprising was that Briggs didn't get into it with Klitschko. Instead, he ended up getting into a screaming match with another boxer Deontay Wilder. And Lennox Lewis captured it all on camera and posted it to Twitter. You can watch it below, but be warned that there is some NSFW language:
Was this all staged? Who knows? But what we do know is that it's got us talking about two boxers other than the two boxers that we've been talking about for weeks now (you know, the ones with names that rhyme with Payweather and Macquiao). So that's probably a win for the sport of boxing as a whole, right?
