Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner and her fiancée Glory Johnson, who plays for the Tulsa Shock, were arrested on Wednesday for assault and disorderly conduct. According to ABC 15 in Arizona, Griner and Johnson were taken to jail late yesterday before being released a little after 4 a.m. today.
No details about why the two women were arrested have been released yet. But you can see both of their mugshots in the thumbnails above. More to come.
UPDATE:
According to TMZ Sports, the police were called to Griner's home at around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday after they received a call about a domestic dispute that was allegedly taking place between the two women.
